Worship Team
Music is a powerful blessing the Lord has given mankind. For thousands of years it has been used for good and evil. We here at Sequoia Community Church choose to use music in a way that is honoring to God. We hope to provide an opportunity for people to personally connect with the Lord. Every Sunday, we desire to provide a corporate time for God’s people to give Him praise and adoration, as well as a time for personal reflection for us to offer our thanksgiving, confessions, and prayers of supplication where we present our requests to the Lord.
Our hope is that we are not just playing a style of music that people “enjoy”, but that the words of our songs speak of and to the truth found in God’s word. On Sunday mornings, we want to provide a time where we are free to praise and worship the Lord, in Spirit and in Truth.
